Here's a round up of my absolute favorite purchases of 2016:
LUCKY BRAND BOOTIES | HERE
I have raved about Lucky Brand's suede booties in more than one post; they have become a staple in my wardrobe and I'm loving them! I can wear them all day and not be in pain or left with blisters after. I've paired them with flares as well as skinny jeans, and even some adorable linen shorts (since I purchased them in July!)
UGG AUSTRALIA | HERE
When I need my feet to be a little more toasty, I slip on my UGG boots. This is my 6th pair since I bought my first pair back in 2004. Most say that these babies have gone "out of style," but I love them and I'll keep wearing 'em!
GUCCI BELT | HERE
This Gucci belt that was gifted to me for my birthday has been worn so much that I splurged and purchased one in black a couple months ago. They dress up any outfit and aren't too heavy even with the emblem.
LAPTOP CASE | HERE
I was first inspired to purchase this marbelized laptop case after reading Emily Gemma's post which included an iPad case. I had a friend over who actually thought I had a piece of marble just sitting on my kitchen table...hehe, silly! It's been a great addition to my MacBook and doesn't add too much bulk.
90 DEGREE BY REFLEX LEGGINGS | HERE
A new post will be up on Wednesday about this company, but for now, let's just say I LOVE these leggings! They are affordable, comfortable washing machine friendly, and very trendy. I have several pairs but I have found myself wearing these with the faux leather accents a lot lately.
RABBIT FUR VEST | HERE
For those of you who don't believe in wearing fur, a faux version has also been listed! I have been coveting a fur vest the past three winters and finally caved when I saw one in New Zealand at Possum People, a locally owned store. They ship internationally, unfortunately, I couldn't find my exact vest on their site so I linked a similar one, below, above the faux fur one.
PEARL EARRINGS | HERE
Living in the South, meant pearls were everywhere! I always thought of them as only being for more formal occasions, until I saw how they could be used with even the most casual outfits. I found a great deal on amazon and whether I'm wearing them alone or with another pair of earrings, they look great! They come in several different sizes; I opted for the 8MM which I've been very happy with. For those of you who have sensitive ears, (like me,) the posts are 14K gold.
PIGGY BANK | HERE
Last month, I mentioned the Chubs charger in this post about stocking stuffers. I keep this cutie clipped inside my purse, and it has come in handy more than once! It's not only adorable but super affordable and functional as well.
T. SABO MIDI RINGS | HERE
While on the hunt for the perfect New Zealand souvenirs, my dad and I wandered into a local jewelry shop in Queenstown. We found tons of pieces by local artists and as we were checking out, I noticed the pinky rings that our cashier had on. She explained that they were "midi-rings" but were small enough for her pinkies. She ALSO mentioned that they sold them in the store! After hearing that they were a local New Zealand company, I had to try some on. I stacked these two dot rings by Thomas Sabo. I love that they are dainty but a bit edgy at the same time.
CHUCK TAYLOR SHORELINE SLIP ON | HERE
Ya'll know how much I love(d) my Chuck Taylor All Stars. Sadly, I wore them into shreds and ended up leaving them in New Zealand. Before we left, I made sure to order a new pair so they'd be waiting for me upon our return to the states. I decided to try something a bit different and went for these slip-ons. Let me tell you, I love them! They are just as comfortable as my traditional Chucks, but have a feminine touch with a scrunched back and non tie laces.
SOLE SOCIETY DUFFEL | HERE
This duffel was a frivolous purchase during the Nordstrom N sale back in July. I had seen it in stores and when it went on sale, I jumped at it. I justified the purchase with all the traveling that I do; thank goodness I did! I have used this bag consistently since purchasing it. I use it for road trips, for overnights, and as my carry on luggage when I fly. It fits a great amount of clothing and other items and meets TSA regulations for overhead storage size.
BURBERRY BRIT | HERE
I can't remember which of my girlfriends introduced me to this scent back in high school, but I repurchase it as often as I need to, sometimes more than 1 bottle at a time, (oops!) This is a classic scent and I love, love, love how it smells. This may actually be my holy grail of perfumes. It is not floral, and not musky.
