90 Degree by Reflex Leggings and Tank: Athleisure - What I Wore Wednesday

When I lived in Charleston, SC, I had a neighbor who always commented about how quickly I would come home from work and change into my "night clothes," to walk Finn and run errands. When you work a 10 hour day, the last thing you want to do is stay in your professional attire. Athleisure has been a saving grace for me; I can finally throw on something super comfy without looking frumpy!

I completely understand the craze and attention that Lululemon receives - I own a couple pieces that I love, however, $98 for leggings on a teacher's salary is a bit steep for my budget. Anyone else in this boat? Well, even if you aren't, I found an amazing athletic wear company with trendy pieces that are affordable and suitable for so many activities both in and out of the gym.

I'm not comfortable in "loud" athleisure wear; I prefer to wear neutrals (specifically black, white, and grey.) 90 Degree by Reflex offers a plethora of items that fit my color palette desires but also offers plenty of fun patterns and designs. I have several pieces (purchased with my own money,) but here's a look at what I wore in New Zealand.

While in Pauanui, we decided to hike Kauri Block. This gave me a great excuse (not that I really needed one!) to break out my brand new 90 Degree by Reflex ankle mesh leggings! These leggings, part of the "Black Label Collection," are super stretchy, but not constricting. I like to feel "sucked in," when working out, but not when I'm doing other activities so these were perfect for this day. They hit comfortably right between my navel and hips, so I would not consider them to be high-waisted. The faux leather and mesh detailing at the bottom gives them an edgier look and it's easy to dress them up or down depending on your preference.

For this hike, I obviously went accessory-free except for my Lokai bracelet and sunglasses and paired them with the Flex Power Racerback Tank Top. I love this tank because it hugs my chest and is less compressed around my stomach and back. I wouldn't consider it flowy but more of a t-shirt fit.

If you're in the market for comfortable, affordable, and adorable athleisure wear, then it's definitely worth it to take a look at what 90 Degree by Reflex has to offer. They also offer a men's line and some darling pieces for kids!

My sneakers, made by Forever Link, O.M.G.! I found these on a whim when I stopped by a local Marshall's one afternoon before we left for New Zealand. I've done a ton of research to find more pairs, unfortunately, they are made by a company that only deals with wholesale. Woof! I did however, find a website where you can buy these specific ones and so many more!

I'll be featuring another post next week with more pieces that I've picked up in the last couple of weeks so be on the look out!

  1. Best one! It must be comfortable enough. Waiting for the latest launch collection of Leggings from branded store I often shop. Also festive sale at this ending year is on cards. My cousin suggested me this site long time back and never switched on to others after that. Their quality finish is the best.
