Before heading to New Zealand, we stopped in Los Angeles to visit (and pick up) my brother, Jared. We spent an afternoon at The Huntington Library, which has over 100 acres of gardens, and several different art galleries, not to mention various shops, and an extensive library.
The weather in southern California is quite agreeable in the winter months, and therefore, only requires light layering. I was more than happy to put my new Patagonia vest, mentioned in this post, to work! So far, I'd say it's one of my best purchases of 2016. Underneath it, I wore a dropped sleeve sweater from Forever 21.
My jeans were by Free People, and are quite comfortable. I knew we would be doing a fair amount of walking, and opted to wear my Vince Camuto flats. I have several pairs of these that I use for work and for play. My Ray Ban sunglasses are 59mm blue mirrored lens pair.
I layered a stack on my wrist, and around my neck. I am still wearing my Dogeared necklace, mentioned in this post, that I received from Bonnie, as well as my David Yurman diamond pendant and matching X Station bracelet. I am also wearing my favorite Michael Kors watch, and Lily and Laura bracelets, mentioned in a Fashion Friday post from earlier this month.
