On our last day in Auckland, we took a ferry over to Waiheke
Island. There are several wineries and breweries on this colorful island. It
was about a twenty-minute bus ride from the marina to Wild on Waiheke – a
vineyard/brewery with archery, life size chess, and several other activities
for adults. Although I hadn’t planned to photograph my outfit, I couldn’t argue
with a cloudless sky and endless rows of grape vines.
As always, I have on my Michael Kors watch, Ray-Ban 59mm
sunglasses and David Yurman pendant necklace, as well as my Dogeared necklace. In addition, I'm also wearing my Lokai, and Lily and Laura beaded bracelets, and this awesome David Yurman "inspired" piece that I found in a mom-and-pop shop when I lived in Charleston.
I have made it a habit of bringing along this H&M button
down. Purchased last summer while we were in Edenborough, Scotland, it has
become a staple in my closet. It is extremely lightweight but great for
layering and super easy to wash.
Underneath it, I have on a basic white vintage tee from
Target. Target has some stylish and affordable options for tees and tanks; I have several in my wardrobe.
I think it's safe to say that I have an affinity for distressed jeans, or in this case "destructed," since that's what PAIGE refers to these as: "Verdugo - Daria Destructed"
Now, let's talk about these sneakers.... they are my FAVORITE. I have owned them for years and there's not a stain that a little bleach can't handle. I dress them up, I dress them down, I wear them to walk the dog, to walk around Trastevere in Rome, and even, to work. (teachers can do that!) Thank you, Converse (and Nike!)
