Mascara and Coffee - What More Does a Girl Need?

GRAPHIC TEE HERE or HERE | DENIM HERE and HERE | LEATHER JACKET HERE and HERE
BOOTIES HERE AND HERE | GUCCI BELT HERE

And just like that.....I'm back! I'm so sorry for the little hiatus that I took this past month. Life....it happens. I started a new job in the fashion industry, moved into a new apartment, my best friend had a baby, and so the list goes on. I forgot how much calm and joy blogging brings me. Now that I've started to find balance again (sort of,) I thought I'd take a minute to share an outfit that I've repeated quite a few times.

Sometimes, a graphic tee can make you feel as though you'll rule the world that day. My tee happens to read "Masacara and Coffee." These are the two things that I cannot start my day without. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find that exact graphic tee that I purchased only a few weeks ago, [insert emoji sad face,] however, I have found a bunch of other super cute ones with different sayings that are just as fitting for most gals.

This specific leather jacket is from a company in Florence, Italy. My father's patient is a friend of theirs and recommended that we stop by their store while we were visiting last summer. It happened to be right outside the famous leather market. If I can find the name, I promise to post it, but for now, I have linked several similar jackets both real and faux.

Speaking of Italy, Gucci usually has items on sale at least twice a year. With that said, some of the items that you'll find are less traditional than my taste, however, I have found several amazing accessories during these sales. I paid full price for this belt, but it was worth every penny. I also own this belt in brown, as seen in this post. I get heaps of compliments every time I wear either one and having a black belt should be a staple in everyone's closet (male and female.)

Y'all know how I feel about Paige denim....BUT... these Hudson jeans are uh-maze-ing. They are a denim material but fit like a legging the way that they move with me. I will definitely be investing in another pair of these.

Now, let's talk about these booties - they're awesome. That's all. Just kidding, that's not really all, but they are awesome. I wear them to work, to dinner, to girls' night and they can be dressed up and worn with a cute shift dress or dressed down, sort of like how I've done with this look. They're a faux suede material that's easy to clean with a damp dark cloth and some warm water.

Overall, I love this look because it can be taken from day to night without changing a thing. If you wanted to switch out the tee for a lace cami, that would add a bit of sexiness without taking the edginess out of the picture.

**SIDE NOTE: Now that we're in "bikini prep" season, or whatever people call it, I've been looking into how to tighten up my fitness routine. I have what my mother would call a "loosey goosey" approach. I head to the gym after work without a plan and after doing some cardio I sort of meander around and try to figure out what I can do without looking clueless but still breaking a sweat - am I the only one who does this?! .....Would anyone be interested in me blogging about what I've found to work in terms of a regimen? Let me know in the comments below :) And as always, thank you for stopping by!
